Over 7,000 courses are currently running across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, meeting anywhere from homes to church buildings, cafés or pubs. Some courses are held during the day or lunch hour, most are evening courses.
Alpha courses are also run in chaplaincies, gyms, prisons, offices, residential homes, universities, parent and toddler groups, youth clubs, armed forces bases and schools, and with the deaf, blind, foreign language groups and those who speak English as an overseas language (ESOL).
